We are always looking for volunteers to participate in our annual review process of SHPE DFW scholarship applications. Committee meets 2 Saturday's in the early Fall. Lunch is provided.

SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Want to help out SHPE DFW but can’t commit to a regular schedule? Assisting with special events like Noche de Ciencias, College to Careers and Annual Awards Gala in June is a great way for those without a lot of spare time to give. Volunteers may be greeters, run a STEM activity, help with setup/tear down, be a photographer, social media specialists and more!

Do you remember who inspired you to go into a STEM field? We can help you be that for the next generation. If you have a few hours to spare, there's a student who could use your time. Select your areas of expertise and the jobs you'd be willing to volunteer for, and we'll find teachers who could use your help. NAF Industry Professional Volunteer
Dallas-ISD will have 42 NAF Academies, each focusing on one of our 5 career themes: Engineering, Finance, Health Science, Hospitality/Tourism, and Information Technology. Each academy has an advisory board made up of business professionals in the community who work with the academy leaders/teachers to bring 21st century skills and knowledge to the academy students through a set of work-based learning activities, such as:
