Holiday Posada

SHPE’s DFW General Meeting/Holiday Posada took place on Saturday, December 15th , at the club house of Northend Apartments in Dallas. It was a joyous afternoon filled with friendship, laughter, and the holiday spirit. President Andrea Shinn, opened up the event with a detailed overview of the chapter and the highlights accomplished by the team year-to-date followed by the fun holiday posada potluck. We enjoyed a variety of delicious cultural food including empanadas from Colombia, Mexican tamales, American ham and tasty festive drinks like coquito, horchata, margaritas, and hot chocolate. Everyone had a great time catching up and meeting new people. Playing white elephant gift exchange was fun and the traditional ugly sweater contest was a hit!
