About the event

Workshop Description

Many lessons can be gleaned from Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde”: the value of friendship and mentors, standing up for what you know is right, and, most importantly, that “you must always have faith in yourself.” While the 2001 cult classic comedy movie teaches some skills not necessary in the workplace (such as the “bend & snap”), it also details how to overcome difficulties when trying to fit in to an industry where you are not the “norm”. In this session, participants will learn the 6 key “BLONDE” traits to crushing stereotypes and finding one’s place in their career, regardless of what everyone else thinks you should look like, act like, or be like. Because, if Elle Woods can attend Harvard and become a lawyer, we too can break the mold and be unique, individual, and the best version of ourselves.

Learning outcomes:

1 – Understand common stereotypes…
